A little paradise for four people in Balazuc

Maison Chassel. Fully equipped house for 4 people, on a large wooded land, with a breathtaking view of the cliffs and the old medieval village of Balazuc. The river is 5 minutes walk. Ideal for swimming in peace. The house includes an equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher), a bedroom with queen size bed, a living room with a sofa-bed, TV and DVD player, bathroom with shower, veranda, wifi. Sheets, towels, linens provided. Barbecue, garden table and chairs, sun loungers. Washing machine and freezer in the adjoining workshop. Large unfenced garden of 3000 m2. Access to the old village in 5 minutes on foot. Animals not accepted.

Rentals from Saturday to Saturday. Prices: 560 euros per week in May and June, 770 euros per week in July and August. Possibility of 4 nights minimum in May and June.

Le 180, in Balazuc. This is a gite rather than a guest house. But if there are only two of you (that’s the maximum) and you’re looking for a calm place with a breathtaking view, look no further, this is the place for you. Alice and Tom will bend over backwards to make you feel welcome.

Le Château d’Uzer, in Uzer, 5 km from Balazuc. Veronica and Eric will welcome you into their magnificent château.

Les Carriers, in Vogüé, 8 km from Balazuc. Christine and François will wait on you hand and foot in their superb house that they built themselves.

La Villa Hugon, in Ruoms, 10 km from Balazuc. Isabelle and Rudi will welcome you in their beautiful home of the late 19th century built by the master brewer Ernest Hugon.

Le Mas de la Madeleine, in Largentière, 12 km from Balazuc. This excellent hostel also has a few remarkable guest rooms and gites, run by Geneviève and Gérard.

La Villa Saint-Patrice, in Saint-Alban-Auriolles, 15 km from Balazuc. Guillemette will allow you to discover the charms of his beautiful 18th century Italian-style house.

Le Château Clément, in Vals-les-Bains, 27 km from Balazuc. Superb 19th century castle run by Marie-Antoinette. Top of the range services.

LE 35 Mai, in Les Vans, 28 km from Balazuc. Muriel and Eric propose you 3 unusual rooms in the heart of the historical center of the city.

La Borie de l’Aubrac, in Nasbinals (Lozère). Of course, it’s quite far from Balazuc (3 hours drive), but we fell in love with this guest house run by a super couple in a dream landscape…
